Hello!
I am a first grade teacher at Benjamin Rush Elementary. I absolutely love my job and feel so fortunate to serve families in such an awesome community. My love for teaching started in college at WSU where I graduated with my bachelors in elementary education in 2008. In 2011 I was privileged to study reading at Columbia University Teachers College over the summer on a grant from our school's PTA. I am very passionate about education and believe parents, teachers, and community all have important roles in the development of our youth. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy being outdoors, cooking, traveling and reading.
